- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in egg, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
- Gently fold in blueberries.
- Pour batter into a greased and floured baking dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool completely. Dust with powdered sugar, if desired.
Notes
- You can use frozen blueberries; do not thaw.
- For a richer flavor, add a dollop of whipped cream.
