A simple and delicious chili recipe.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 packet chili seasoning
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in a large pot. Drain off any excess grease.
  2. Add chopped onion and cook until softened.
  3. Stir in kidney beans, pinto beans, diced tomatoes, chili seasoning, and water.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for at least 20 minutes, or longer for more flavor.
  5. Serve hot with your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of chili seasoning to your taste.
  • You can add other vegetables, such as bell peppers or corn.
  • For a spicier chili, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a chopped jalapeño.
