Description
Make delicious Chinese Beef and Broccoli in one pan. This recipe is better than takeout.
Ingredients

- 1 lb beef sirloin, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 head of broccoli, cut into florets
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine beef with cornstarch and a little soy sauce.
- Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Sear the beef until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Add broccoli to the pan and stir-fry for a few minutes.
- Add garlic and ginger and cook until fragrant.
- Whisk together beef broth, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and remaining soy sauce.
- Pour sauce into the pan.
- Return beef to the pan.
- Simmer until the sauce thickens and the beef is cooked through.
- Serve over cooked rice.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of sauce to your preference.
- You can add other vegetables, like carrots or bell peppers.
- For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
