Ingredients
- Beef roast: 3-4 pounds
- Onion: 1, sliced
- Beef broth: 4 cups
- Worcestershire sauce: 2 tablespoons
- Bay leaves: 2
- Salt and pepper: To taste
- French rolls or hoagie buns
- Swiss cheese slices
Instructions
- Place roast in the crockpot.
- Add onion, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, bay leaves, salt, and pepper.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Shred the beef with two forks.
- Toast the rolls.
- Place cheese on the rolls.
- Fill rolls with beef.
- Serve with au jus from the crockpot.
Notes
- You can add garlic cloves for extra flavor.
- Adjust cooking time based on your crockpot.
- For a spicier sandwich, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
