Description

A delightful twist on classic tiramisu with Earl Grey tea flavor.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces ladyfingers
  • 1 cup strong brewed Earl Grey tea, cooled
  • 4 large eggs, separated
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 pound mascarpone cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • Cocoa powder, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Brew Earl Grey tea and let it cool.
  2. Dip ladyfingers in tea and arrange in a dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk egg yolks and sugar until pale.
  4. Gently fold in mascarpone cheese.
  5. In another bowl, whip egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  6. Fold egg whites into the mascarpone mixture.
  7. Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks.
  8. Gently fold whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  9. Layer the mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers.
  10. Dust with cocoa powder.
  11. Chill for at least 4 hours.

Notes

  • You can add a splash of vanilla extract for extra flavor.
  • For a stronger tea flavor, use more tea.
