A simple and delicious chili recipe made in a Crockpot.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped onions
Instructions
- Brown ground beef in a skillet. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the cooked beef, onion, garlic, kidney beans, pinto beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to the Crockpot.
- Stir to combine.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of chili powder to your taste preference.
- For a spicier chili, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a chopped jalapeño.
- You can add other vegetables, like bell peppers or corn.
- This recipe is easily adaptable to be made with turkey or chicken.
