Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped onions

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in a skillet. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add the cooked beef, onion, garlic, kidney beans, pinto beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to the Crockpot.
  3. Stir to combine.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Serve hot with your favorite toppings.

  • Adjust the amount of chili powder to your taste preference.
