Description

A delicious and comforting slow cooker beef meal.


Ingredients

  • Beef chuck roast: 2-3 pounds
  • Onion: 1 large, chopped
  • Carrots: 1 pound, peeled and chopped
  • Celery: 2 stalks, chopped
  • Beef broth: 4 cups
  • Tomato paste: 2 tablespoons
  • Worcestershire sauce: 1 tablespoon
  • Dried thyme: 1 teaspoon
  • Dried rosemary: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt and pepper: to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the beef with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear the beef in a hot pan.
  3. Place the onion, carrots, and celery in the slow cooker.
  4. Place the seared beef on top of the vegetables.
  5. Add beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and rosemary.
  6. Cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours.
  7. Shred the beef with two forks.
  8. Serve and enjoy!

  • You can add potatoes to the slow cooker for a complete meal.
