Description
A delicious and comforting slow cooker beef meal.
Ingredients
- Beef chuck roast: 2-3 pounds
- Onion: 1 large, chopped
- Carrots: 1 pound, peeled and chopped
- Celery: 2 stalks, chopped
- Beef broth: 4 cups
- Tomato paste: 2 tablespoons
- Worcestershire sauce: 1 tablespoon
- Dried thyme: 1 teaspoon
- Dried rosemary: 1 teaspoon
- Salt and pepper: to taste
Instructions
- Season the beef with salt and pepper.
- Sear the beef in a hot pan.
- Place the onion, carrots, and celery in the slow cooker.
- Place the seared beef on top of the vegetables.
- Add beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and rosemary.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Shred the beef with two forks.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- You can add potatoes to the slow cooker for a complete meal.
- Adjust seasonings to your liking.
- Serve with crusty bread.
