A delicious and easy recipe for Honey BBQ Chicken served over rice.
Ingredients
- Chicken breasts: 2 (boneless, skinless)
- Honey: 1/4 cup
- BBQ sauce: 1/2 cup
- Soy sauce: 1 tablespoon
- Garlic: 2 cloves (minced)
- Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
- Cooked rice: 2 cups
- Salt and pepper: to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix honey, BBQ sauce, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 2-3 minutes per side.
- Place chicken in a baking dish. Pour honey BBQ sauce over chicken.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
- Serve chicken over cooked rice.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken thighs for chicken breasts.
- Adjust the amount of BBQ sauce to your liking.
- Garnish with chopped green onions, if desired.
