Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 200g sausage meat
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a bowl, combine the sausage meat, beaten egg, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Unroll the puff pastry sheet onto a lightly floured surface.
  5. Spread the sausage meat mixture evenly over the puff pastry.
  6. Roll up the puff pastry tightly, like a Swiss roll.
  7. Cut the roll into 2-3 cm thick slices.
  8. Place the slices cut-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  9. Brush the tops with a little beaten egg.
  10. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.

Notes

  • You can add grated cheese or finely chopped onion to the sausage meat mixture for extra flavor.
