- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 200g sausage meat
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine the sausage meat, beaten egg, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Unroll the puff pastry sheet onto a lightly floured surface.
- Spread the sausage meat mixture evenly over the puff pastry.
- Roll up the puff pastry tightly, like a Swiss roll.
- Cut the roll into 2-3 cm thick slices.
- Place the slices cut-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with a little beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.
Notes
- You can add grated cheese or finely chopped onion to the sausage meat mixture for extra flavor.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
