A simple and delicious one-pan cheeseburger pie, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 (14.1 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 (14.1 ounce) package refrigerated pie crusts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Brown ground beef and onion in a large skillet. Drain any grease.
  3. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Stir in diced tomatoes. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Place one pie crust in the skillet.
  6. Top with meat mixture, then sprinkle with cheese.
  7. Place the second pie crust over the cheese. Crimp edges to seal. Cut slits in the top crust.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until crust is golden brown.
