A simple and delicious one-pan cheeseburger pie, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 (14.1 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 (14.1 ounce) package refrigerated pie crusts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Brown ground beef and onion in a large skillet. Drain any grease.
- Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Stir in diced tomatoes. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Place one pie crust in the skillet.
- Top with meat mixture, then sprinkle with cheese.
- Place the second pie crust over the cheese. Crimp edges to seal. Cut slits in the top crust.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until crust is golden brown.
Notes
- You can add your favorite burger toppings.
- Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
