- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup uncooked pasta
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
- Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up, until browned. Drain any excess grease.
- Add onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, kidney beans, beef broth, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then add pasta.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until pasta is cooked and sauce has thickened. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
- Serve hot.

- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for ground beef.
- Add vegetables like bell peppers or carrots for extra nutrients.
