Description

Thick cauliflower steaks roasted with garlic and Parmesan cheese. A simple and flavorful side dish.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large head of cauliflower
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the cauliflower head into four thick ‘steaks’ from the center.
  3. In a small bowl, mix olive oil and minced garlic.
  4. Brush the cauliflower steaks with the garlic oil on both sides.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Place the steaks on a baking sheet.
  7. Roast for 15 minutes.
  8. Flip the steaks and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  9. Roast for another 10-15 minutes, or until tender and golden brown.

Notes

  • If cauliflower steaks break, you can roast the florets alongside the steaks.
  • Adjust garlic and Parmesan to your preference.
