Description

Ingredients

  • 12 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Paprika, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Drain and rinse eggs with cold water.
  4. Peel eggs and slice in half lengthwise.
  5. Remove yolks and place in a bowl.
  6. Mash yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and white vinegar.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Spoon or pipe yolk mixture back into egg white halves.
  9. Garnish with paprika.

Notes

  • For firmer egg whites, do not overcook.
  • Adjust mustard and vinegar to your preference.
  • Chilled deviled eggs are best served cold.
