Description

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Paprika
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1 large Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 lb Potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup Carrots, chopped
  • 1 cup Celery, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Coat chicken in flour.
  3. Heat oil in a pot.
  4. Brown chicken. Remove and set aside.
  5. Sauté onion and garlic.
  6. Add chicken broth, potatoes, carrots, and celery.
  7. Return chicken to pot.
  8. Simmer until chicken is cooked.
  9. Garnish with parsley.

  • Serve with cornbread.
